Its rainy season again and lots of frogs are coming in the fields and in the stream. Some are edible but some are not like the bullfrog. During the planting of rice in the nearby field, this frog comes out of the water and peeps through my camera. If its edible I should have catch it but because its poisonous, I didn't. The curious frog seems not afraid of the camera. Well, maybe because it is now usual to it see many farmers planting rice in the field. Lets plant rice the traditional way and catch frog the traditional way too.

Oh no that is not the edible frog that can be cooked for humans to eat. That is a bull frog, correct?

@ilocosboy That is a poisonous frog. The edible frogs have long legs and not so dark colored like the bull frogs.

@ilocosboy never tried it with coconut milk. might as well try soon. Edible frogs would soon be abundant in the market now that its rainy season.

Is that a farm frog that farmers can eat? Is it a bullfrog that medical students play in the zoo lab?

I have not eaten frog meat! I can't (if I knew it is a frog). That one in the photo is poisonous. It squirts a poisonous fluid when irritated.
