"I no longer have the energy for meaningless friendships, forced interactions or unnecessary conversations." I think as the years go by I realized that it is not important if you have a lot of friends and what is important is you have a few good and real ones. In this age it seems like it's getting harder to find real friends. I'm glad i already have a few. I hope that you guys have one too. What are your thoughts on this?

I am very selective in my interactions.. I have a few but faithful friends who have stood by me when I needed them the most.

That's good to know. It's better to have a few friends than a lot of friends who doesn't really care. :)

It has been a long time that I ah lost my real friends. Technically, virtual friends are becoming closest to my heart.

True friends are really difficult to find. Just like you, I have very few friends. And at present, my only best friend is my boyfriend. He has been the one whom I always talk to. We have shared many memories together, both ups and downs. Once we find true friends, we should never let them go.

That's true. Nowadays we don't know who will talk about us behind our backs or even spill our secrets to the world. Some friends are only there as well through the good but when worst comes to worst you will know who your true friends are.

@royanne That is why they said that a friend in need is a friend in deed.

I am very careful in making friends. My mom an dad is always telling me to choose my friends wisely. They can make or break your personality.

Yes. I believe that as well. There's also this saying "tell me who your friends are and I'll tell you who you are" in some aspects this is true. We don't notice it always but our attitude changes or we pick up some behavior from the people we always hang out with.

I've never been one to have lots of 'friends'. The ones I do have really do qualify to be called that.

It is never about the quantity but quality. I realized with my own experience.

I agree with that. It's better to have few but good friends, than have lots but not good friends.

@royanne I agree with what you said. I always felt if you have a few good friends that is enough.

less friends less bullshit, so keep your circle small, you know who youre real friends, the one's who you can share your problems, your daily experience and your lovelife, and for them to a give you a nonsense advice, :) LOL you know for a fact that they got your back and that they will be there for you, though you are not always seeing each other, they will bring out the best and the worst of you despite of all these, they will still stick around. you are lucky enough to have those few true friends.
