Would you be excited or bored by two months at sea? Why?

I was thinking to have a deep sailing travel from one country to another. For me, it would be a great fun to know other culture and its practices. Personally speaking, I haven’t tried to ride on a ship locally or internationally. I don’t have any idea what is the feeling of being on a boat with the local people. If I have the chance, I will grab the chance and explore the world. Two months would be a fine package and no boredom will kill me along the sea journey. Have you tried traveling by sea? Is it fun?

I have been on a cruise. I loved it I did not think that I was going to like it due to not being able to have my phone when I went. But I had the best time and was only ready to go home due to missing my hubby and my kids. But if they were with me then I would have loved to stay on the boat as long as I could.

No, I do not think I can deal with being in the sea for that long.

@Shavkat Yes, but it depends will the ship stop throughout the 2 months. I don't think I can be stuck on a ship for that long though.

I have but only for a short trip between England and Ireland.
It was the ferry that goes there and I got sea sick but the sea was very rough.
I think I would be fine on a calmer sea.
I would love to do as you are saying, I would not be bored for I love the sight of the sea.
Oh I also was on a hovercraft sea vehicle between England and France on a day trip.
That was okay.

We always travel by sea going to our province and coming back here in the city.
It's enjoyable to ride in a shop if the sea is calm. But it is horrible if you can see waves even higher than the ship.
I have experienced riding in a ship with rough seas and I think I got phobia because of it.
Now, I only want to go to our province during summer time because for sure the sea is calm and almost have no waves.

I think the cruise trip will be nice for around a week, but if it is for months, it will be different. I heard that it is expensive to use the internet when you are in the cruise. Try to imagine if you can't get online for such a long time. You may not get used to it. And there is nothing interesting to do in the cruise except for eating and sleeping. And you shall not have the seasick, too.

I've done cruises before and I enjoy them. I don't know about 2 months tho, that is a long time on a boat. I guess depending on where the stops are it could definitely be interesting.

I think it would be fun for an hour or two a day, but after that pretty boring. That is unless you are one of those expensive cruise ships. Then it would probably be fun all the way around.

I've been on a ferry to france a few times and to spain once.
I didn't particularly like it but a ferry is different from a cruise.
Cruises stop in at places of interest whereas ferries just take you from one place to another.
That pic you've shown looks like an old Mississippi river paddleboat...I'd love to go on one of those.

Riding a cruise ship won't be boring, though I haven't experienced it; based only on what friends say; but I had ridden an inter-island ship from Manila to Cebu, so long ago, and it took 21 hours by sea. It was fun because it was summer and the tides are small.

I don't think I would be bored. More than likely I would spend most of my time throwing up!
Never traveled by sea for two reasons. One. I can't swim. Two. Knowing me I'd probably get seasick. Still! When I lived in Miami, Florida, they had a weekend cruise to The Bahamas. If I were going to travel via ship, I think I would have liked that cruise.
