I Am Lucky to Have a Happy Family

Yes, I'm very lucky to have a complete and happy family. I thank God for giving me such blessings. Trials come our way, but with God's blessings, guidance and protection, we surpassed them all, as we continue to be strong in facing all challenges.
I know some of us are not so lucky in their love life and married life. Some got divorce or separated after living together for years. I'm very sad about it, but we cannot do anything, especially if both were not happy anymore living together. It's their choice and we must respect them.
I just hope they're fine and move on after the separation, and they continue to find their true happiness as well as lifetime partners.
Any thoughts?

@ridingbet, But even you're far from each other, you still love him and the most important, you are happy when you communicate.

Keeping our family intact was the reason my wife and I passed off on 2 chances to become officers in our company. Now, we realized that we made the right choice of putting our family over career advancement because our two daughters are successfel in their own fields. My older daughter is now senior manager of an international company and she was also assistant director and senior manager in her previous employment in Makati. What we did not achieve, our daughter did.

Many families have members that are divorced and many times that is the only way each can be truly happy especially when communication breaks down over the years. It can be difficult to repair those chasms when too much time has passed. It can be done, but most often the time it could take is like a mountain for one party or the other.
The family unit can still be a happy one though, and it's great that you give God the praise on that he deserves. As we are thankful it helps us jump over those hurdles thrown by the other side.

@Macarrosel I wasn't really sure whether you were saying there was divorce in your family or not, although if I remember correctly it seems that your country doesn't allow them?

@MarshaMusselman yes you're right, we don't have divorce here in our country. What we have is annulment of marriage and legal separation.

Yes, I understand why some marriages end up getting divorce. Maybe it's the only solution. I'm glad that your family is happy and fine now.

I'm so happy you have a complete and happy family. You are right, not everyone has that. I didn't. My marriage dissolved after many years, and now my X has passed. I am happy with what God has given me with my children and my service to him. You have a wonderful family picture.

I thought we had a happy family until I started to discover the secrets. Though dad leaving the country and our family alone was the best moment in our lives, I kinda missed him and now he's some what dying. but I'm happy still that i have siblings and mom who would never stop loving you.

Happy and beautiful families, like yours, are certainly a blessing. I am lucky to have a wonderful husband and three healthy children. Sure, my husband and I have our problems, but we always try to work through them, and at the end of the day, we are still pretty happy. Marriage takes work, and having children isn't easy, but together we'll get through it and that's the important thing. Things can always be worse. I'm certainly lucky.

It is very important to spend quality time with our families. Our family is there for us when we have to confront with a difficult situation and gives us useful advice.
