There is an Asian Festival each February here and I enjoy sampling foods from various countries, but am never sure about what to order. Maybe a post about Filipino food varieties would be good?

When I traveled to Israel for Holy Land pilgrimage, I missed my Indian food a lot. I ate Israeli food for 5 days. Then on the sixth day, when I went to Egypt as part of the tour to see the pyramids I found an Indian restaurant and I ate till my tummy was full. That was when I realized the importance of my Indian food.
How is Filipino food? I heard it is a blend of native and European food? I would like to try. In India, besides Indian food, only Chinese and Thai food from Asia are popular.

I really love Indian food. There's plenty here in Australia. There's really something with food and culture and people's deep attachment to their native dishes.
Filipino food is a blend of Spanish and Asian cuisines. With lots of soy sauce.
