Our grand parents never deserve to be ignored in such a harsh and ridiculous way.Its them behind us.When we were helpless in our childhood they never had send us anywhere but instead they took our gr8 care.Even they ignored their own interests just 4 us.How it can b supported to ask them to live apart frm us..?

I think that if they need care that u can't provide then yes they should be put in nursing homes. I'm going through a situation like this. My grandma lives with me and my mom. I don't think my mom can give her proper care, not to mention that my mom isn't treating with any respect at all. If I could I would put my grandma in a nursing home only because I feel it'd be in the best interest for her.

I dont think, that grandparents should be sent away if it can be avoided. See, I was brought up by my grandparents as my mom expired when i was 2 years old.I still remember them with a lot of love and fond memories even though they are no more.Grandparents care for you when you need them...but towards the end of their life when they need care how can you leave them alone...or at someone elses mercy.
just for your information i would like to tell you that for the last 10 years of her life my granny was bed ridden.I looked after her for that entire period on her bed, and even today, I feel satisfied that i took care of her, when she needed it most.

no, they are our parents and we should be the one to take care of them as they take care with us from the time we were born and we grow up. NOw that they are old we should make them feel that we love them and they are important to us. they are our responsibility.

no never man, they are the who who have given us life indirectly, made us play with them, taken care of us, doing this is to rude and harsh to them

When we are small these are the same people who shower us with all their loves. They are the ones who are more eagerly expecting our arrival in this world. However as we grow up and along with us they become older some of us try to ignore them. Its a sad situation but true in most of the cases. As they grow older it becomes our duty to take care of them and not send them to some old homes.
