Do you expect responses from mylotters, whose discussions you respond regularly?

July 8, 2016 1:03pm CST
The sentence was difficult to phrase. My intention was to know let's say, you responded to X's discussion , then do you expect a response from X? Sometimes I expect a response but most of those mylotters are busy posting new discussions..

Thanks for the response. It's not like they never responded but may be they don't find my discussion interesting.

@ShifaLk yes they should and that is the point of posting a discussion. To know what people think about and share views

@vijay_2016 but if you comment in their post, they should respond back often if not always

I don'texpect a response, but it's nice if they do. That way we build up a rapport with each other.

Yeah It feels like a close friend...but yes we can't always expect as that topic may not be interesting to that person

I continue to respond to comments on my discussions until everyone loses interest and there is something more interesting on the horizon. That is how you earn. People will not interact with you much if you ignore their comments on a discussion. You put it out there and you are responsible to keep it going as long as anyone wants to comment.

Yes interaction matters. Both for earning and also for fun. OK make sure I comment to all the responses on my discussions.

No, I don't expect and I don't mind at all if they don't comment back. What I do is only to respond to other's discussion. They don't need to check mine since I don't post discussions. If they don't feel like commenting back to the responses I left on their discussions, it would be fine with me.

I understand you are saying, its a post and a response...the end ,right? Its very nice though when the discussion goes back and forth and then is something quite different from the original post. What are the topics you like to talk about?

@vijay_2016 What I meant was usually X posts.Y responds.X acknowledges by 'like' or by responding to a response. Then the discussion ends. But I like it when we keep on carrying on for some more time. Also, yes I too have seen that people may not respond or even check your posts. But then that is their prerogative.

@responsiveme OK I got it now, yes even that scenario happens. The discussion stops suddenly..instead of continuing the old discussions there are so many new are started.

Sorry, I did not understand your comment. My intention was to know this thing. You respond to X's discussion but X does not respond to other discussion stared by you.

I don't because I think it's very childish to do that. I write mostly on other's discussions rather than starting my own.

I've stopped asking those kinds of questions and just go with what we see here. It's impossible to know what is going on behind the keyboard and why should anyone feel obligated. It should in my opinion occur naturally?

Well, I expect for their comments in my discussion after I commented in them, but if they won't comment , it's fine with me. Really!

It seems logic, but not always the theme choosed might be of all interest. I rather prefer that they only answer, if they are really interested in what I wrote about. That way, the content of their answers will be more interesting and not only polite.

Agreed, all the discussion I start may not interest everyone. However I felt that if I am.responding regularly to someone's post that means we both think similarly and our interests are same.
