I'm Done With Her

I've written here previously about the mental health case manager I was assigned by the county agency. After a major blow up, I gave her a second chance when she apologized. I'm totally done with her now though. Last week I asked her to go with me to my oral surgeon's appointment because of my anxiety - she told me she couldn't but if I would reschedule it FOR AUGUST maybe she could go with me!!! This is a surgery I'd already been freaking out about due to waiting for a consultation appointment for a month, and she wanted me to put it off further. A few days later, I was offered the chance to go to Chicago for the video and I called to share the good news with her. She didn't answer so I left a very excited message asking her to call me back because I had great news to share. She's never bothered to call me back. This lady, when she apologized to me for her behavior in the incident last month, told me how she really did care about me. Yeah right! She "cares" when its convenient for her or there isn't something better for her to do. I am so thankful I don't have to rely on the county for mental health services and support - I'd be screwed! I'm not even bothering to call her and tell her about my surgery on Tuesday.
