My music journey- My turn-on

When I sit on the piano to play, you could think its Mozart playing, but on the contrary this is what goes on in my mind. Lol. Not that I know a lot about music; but I enjoy every bit of it. It could be in any language as long as the voice is good, the lyrics, harmony, melody trust that I won't move an inch. As I was passing by the gym one day, I saw a friend trying to play the piano. I went and said hello. Little did I know I would be motivated by these words, " You too can play the piano. Just give it a try." Of course I was not aware of what lay ahead on the road to investing in myself, it only took one key to press, codes and listening and of course the lessons which sometimes bored me because of reading notes. I can't say the rest is history because am still learning. My "Ah ha" moment came when I finally played the song without the notes. I felt like my ancestors should listen to this. Joke! But what am I saying? I didn't know I could play the piano and other instruments, but it took one sentence from a friend to discover the hidden talent in me. It didn't stop at discovery but I nurtured it. Who has discovered you? Whom have you discovered? Take time to discover the best in people. You never know. Stay blessed.

I think it is your innate skills. In some way, you are gifted.
