What kinds of posts do you put in your social media accounts?

Some people are really into social media. They shared a lot of things such as photos, articles, etc. The only thing that is mind-blowing is sharing the photos of a child. The question is, “Do we need to ask permission from the parents before posting?” I think it is a basic protocol to do. But then, some parents are so proud of their child and bring out all the photos in certain posts. “Do you think we violate the child’s rights?” There is always a time that I had to check first the photo before posting it. In terms of child’s photos, I don’t post them close up and I prefer photos that are in side-view. “What do you think?”

I do agree on that. But they need to be responsible for it.

I often post my son's photos in my social media. It can be a digital device he fixed lately. Or it can be his homework etc. It can be our travel moments. When I look back my these posts, it can remind me of many nice memories. This is my point to have these posts.

I don't post a lot of photos of my child, but I do post cute ones and nothing that would embarrass him if he saw them.

I agree that we need to choose some photos. Some people don't do this. That makes me feel alarming.

I try to post inspirational things. I would not want to post children's pictures. There are unsavory people who exploit a child's photo.

@akalinus That's a good thing. I do think that we need to know of being responsible in posting child's photos.

Well, my rant is about people who post all their pictures in the Facebook. Seems they make Facebook their photo album which is not good to see.

We need to do this. We can also ask permission before sharing photos if it is not our child.
