WHY NO RESPONSE ON JUST TWO LINES POSTED?

Sorry for the capitals in my title. I am not shouting per se - or rather I am.
Since logging on earlier this afternoon and at a time when the rain was visiting yet again, the sun has just now come out and I get a chance to go for a walk and stretch my legs.
It has been an interesting time for me on MyLot today. I have read a few posts which have made my Dyslexia work over time though but it MAY be my computer and not necessarily the fault of any member.
The one aspect that I am finding rather unusual to a point, but of not much surprise are the posts that have been submitted showing only two lines of text. Hardly any responses have occurred and quite frankly it really doesn't surprise me.
If you are wondering why no one is reading your two lines of sentences, it is because it is a bit of a wasted opportunity for your post to be read, to make a bit of money and for your slot in this site to be recognised.
Now I know that for some new members, English might not be the first mother tongue language but you can still write understandable and meaningful content without copying the dictionary.
If the post contains copied text stolen from another author, you might be chucked off MyLot which also means a loss of earnings. If your post has very little information - elaborate, open up and share your thoughts!
I have never been one for writing short sentences and yet if you analyse this whole post, there are so many open ended ideas I could elaborate on.
It is never a dull moment on MyLot, but at the same time if you write and post only two lines, they're not going to be "liked" very much. (c)Nar2/Crystalvisions2016

You are not wrong there. It is pointless to write just two sentences unless its something like. I have won the lottery. Bye for now!

the thought of the Trump Donal.d of the bad
hair being President share it, we need your thoughts too as there is a lot riding on which'

That mostly I have seen happening with new users signing up. They always start with two liners or one liners. But I guess they get the idea after acclimating themselves here on myLot.

Really? Oh I was under the impression people are on here because piece meal money can be made. Same as You Tube. I doubt many members would be here if no incentive was offered.

We all know we could make more doing something else,if you ask my honest opinion, no-one is here just because of the few cents, there are better ways to use our times.
We might not know it, but,we`re not here for the money. It`s a good bonus but not the reason we`re here

@miniam True and the posts I write sometimes don't end up with open ended questions that are thrusted to the reader for a response or to inspire them to write a response. I find reading posts like that just as inspiring to write and Im certainly not treating ML like Bubblews or others I've been on. I'm taking my time this time without much of a view of making money.

It is hard to make sense and start a virtual conversation with a stranger with 2 lines. Also most people who make short posts are worth avoiding here. they ruin discussions and they were only for money.

Two sentences are not a lot to go on, so your right about that. Most discussions that get a lot of responses have more to them than that.

I read a post with only 2 sentences written, but it was placed in top rated, so we cannot decide why?
