Good afternoon.When home from the beach I crash and watch a movie. The movie I want to talk about is Born to Blue. If you are a jazz fan I recommend this film.This is a story of jazzman Chet Baker life during the late sixties.He was addicted to drug as he was addicted to his music.He was looking for a career boost. This is a movie about his life.The movie has some weak spot as they did not carried on to his death in Amsterdam .He was back to his drug habit. Ethan Hawke who play the role of Chet Baker. Also I believe that he was snubbed by the Academy Award. Most of you know of his My Funny Valentine and Let Get Lost. Next up is Miles Ahead the story of Miles Davis. If you are a Chet Baker Fan.You will loved this. Here is a tease trailer on this

@amadeo A few hours after reading your post, I did see an interview on TV with Ethan Hawke, discussing his role in this movie. I had to smile because I would never have known about this movie but for you. Great timing!

Thank you so much for the recommendation. If I come across this movie, I will definitely watch it. I do happen to be a fan of Ethan Hawke. I totally loved him in the movies, Before sunrise, Before Sunset, and Before Midnight. It just so happens, I am also a big fan of his ex-wife Uma Thurman, and I loved her in the movies Dangerous Liaisons, and Kill Bill volume 1 and 2.
