What is the best way to get attention

in regards to a line when advertising. What makes you stop and look? Any suggestions and feedback would be greatly appreciated

Appeal to a person's basic needs.
It's always WIIFM... What's In It For Me.
Look at the subject line in your email inbox (especially the SPAM). Which ones get YOUR attention? There's your starting point.
Test them. I have a free place where I test all my subject lines and headlines for effectiveness.

that is a good idea, I have done the opt in emails and I have found some that I do look at and try to determine if I am in need of grabbing the same audience as myself....but I also need to try to grab more than just my own self as an audience what do you think?

i have a girlfriend who loves lots of attention and she has went as far as doing a cartwheel across the dance floor some people do just about anything for attention i jhave to say though my friend is alot of fun and we have had some really great times

Well..It all depends on your product i suppose. You want to make it catchy but if it doesnt have anything to do with what you are promoting people will feel "tricked" and statistics show that people don't like to be "tricked" that is of course your a magician...then it's ok.
