We stop selling cigarettes in our store

I stopped selling cigarettes in our store a month ago and there are still customers coming, asking if we have cigarettes even if we have notice outside our store that we don't sell cigarettes anymore. Sigh, there are people who are really hard headed that smoking cigarettes is dangerous to our health. I did this, not selling this product because I have known already many cases that even we don't smoke we are expose to cancer, a very killer disease. So, as much as possible stay away from smoking areas and don't smoke.

Honestly, it's not a bad idea. It's not good for anyone's health. Some people are just too lazy to read a sign.

That's a good decision. It's not only for your own good but also to other people. Non smokers are more prone to cancer than those who smoke. Non smokers could inhale more smoke than them.

Smokers are not considerate for non-smokers. Second hand smoke can cause carcinoma too.

@Shavkat Are you really judging ALL smokers when clearly you don't know everyone in this world who smokes? Not everyone who smokes are inconsiderate.

@LovingMyBabies I am not judging them all. Let me rephrase it, some smokers don't consider the welfare of the others who don't smoke.

Yes, they are very cruel in doing such things. There are many victims, the second hand smoke are the most affected compared to those who really smoke.

@ida123 That'a good thing to do. You have grocery shop? If yes, then you have plenty of product options available for you.

I can sacrifice a bit of lose on this product as long as it can benefit to all and to my family. I'm planning also to stop selling another product but am also studying the effects of these to the customers.

About a week ago, my brother and I both started Chantix to help us quit smoking. It hasn't been easy but we are on our way to non-smokers.

@ida123 That is very true. So far, it's not going that good. But, even if I'm not able to quit this time, I will quit. I'll just have to keep at it until I succeed. It's really hard.

Besides Reine, if I won't do that I will be the one or my husband to be affected most because we are exposed to smell the smoke if we still continue selling it.

There are a couple places here that stopped selling them too. It would be nice if more stopped it, but people would still find places to get them.

I think they are addictive to smoking, they are happy and contented using it without noticing that this is hazardous to everybody near him.

It is a good idea to stop selling it, perhaps plaster signs everywhere? or have it be printed on the receipts.
