What changes would you make to myLot if you were the admin here?

organize it a lot better than this sloppy mess and people should be paid more. 25 cents each post sounds good to me.

I really liked the concept, share your thoughts and get paid. But only thing i wuld like to change is the payment method. It should not be thru third party like Paypal / IKOBO etc. Rather it should be direct payment thru Bank Drafts / cheques etc.

Just when you thought it was safe... here's another one: reader ratings on discussions, and the ability to filter your search based on reader's ratings.

Since we're rolling, here's a couple more... Collapsable threads, and color coding the "X ago" times. Black for over 24 hours, orange for 1-24 hours, and red for within 60 minutes. It would make it easier to find the latest response in a long thread. Somebody could probably come up with better colors than I suggested.

MyLot should email you not only when you've got an answer but also when yours gets a "best answer" mark.

If we could organise threads by topics instead of us having to manually input the tags it would be great too.

I'd really like to see categories you can choose from. Another idea would be to enter keywords and a special section of the main page would display the latest discussions that fit the keywords. There's way too many topics right now, and the good ones are buried ten pages back within 10 minutes of being inserted. Another thought would be to require new users to post 10 responses/replies before being able to start discussions. It might reduce the number of senseless topics. I agree though, that idea is alittle unfair to the person who just wants to know if anyone can help him find an owner's manual to a Hoover vacuum or something. Otherwise, I'm quite pleased. They had a few bugs the first week I was here, and they've fixed them. I like the format. I just wish (A) I could more easily find the discussions I'd like to respond to, and (B) other members could find the discussions I've created before the discussions get buried.

I wish our pay would update more frequently, but other than that I can't think of anything obvious.

i agree it need to be easier to find the posts thats has been started and also tell us the pay scale. I just started and being new to all this and trying to find everything is overwhelming
