So if you're from Texas or from some of the neighboring states now, you know that most see Whataburger as a gift from the lord above. I have to say, I do not really feel that way. Sometimes I think it may just be my location that does not follow the standards the company sets.
The one thing though that I can get there and I wholeheartedly believe it to be the best thing ever, it's the honey butter chicken biscuit! It's SO good! That thing has this honey butter sauce that I would drink if people wouldn't look at me weird for doing it.
Hopefully, my location keeps doing a good job on at least that biscuit because it is something I absolutely love!
Do you have a restaurant around you that locals or people in your state swear by?
Ever been to Whataburger?
Can't wait to hear!

I have heard of Whataburger but I don't have any of them near me. I do feel like sometimes the fast food places and restaurants in my hometown just don't compare to the ones that are in other towns. In Boone, NC there is a fast food places called Come Back Shack and they have amazing burgers, homemade ranch dressing and home cut fries. They still use real meat for their burgers and they have chili cheese fries and home made lemonade that are to die for. I wish there was one closer to my home town.

@CaseyRoss9966 Chick-fil-a is always a go to, so amazing! Their customer service is always great too, which is a plus.

@13tyates Well my the town my college in has no fast food places. It is just local mom and pop restaurants and they all have good food. Boone is the only place that Come Back Shack is at which is sad. I do really love Chick-Fil-A as well. Waffle fries are my favorite.

We had two Whataburgers open here in our city in Florida, and the food was pretty good. However, they were both only open about a year and then they closed down. I don't know if they just didn't promote themselves very well, or if the local burger market was already saturated. I thought the food was pretty good.

It seems I have heard of several locations that have closed down not too long after opening. Maybe their not picking the best locations or have a poor plan in place to get the word out to the communities they go into. I'd agree most items are pretty good overall.

@13tyates Yeah, the location where the two restaurants were in my city were horrible. Whoever picked those locations was an idiot.

One of the things I enjoyed about Texas was the Waffle House. Never been to a Whataburger.

I have seen Whatburger when traveling through the south and never stopped. I stick with the tried and true with McDonald's or Burger King if I want a artery clogging burger.
