Do you think thunderstorms are romantic?

Hey my fellow friends! I have not been on here for 2 days now because Ive been extremely busy with work. I was just about to get on here a little earlier when we faced the strongest most windy thunderstorm in a very long time. Extremely heavy rain with gusty winds blowing almost everything down. It was fun to watch from my window but I was wishing my better half was with me. We don't usually cuddle but this would have been the ideal time to do so. Do you think they are romantic?

I don't know about romantic... they kinda scary... But I do feel better when I know all of my family are safe and sound at home with me in that kind of weather...

Yes that's another way of putting this. People you care about being closer. Doesn't have to be romantic always. Some hot chocolate could be closer too. Haha

If I had a girlfriend who was afraid of thunder, I would've laughed at her! But I'd cheer her up quick or she could get mad at me.

@cxndie I could apologize and try to woo her. Haha. As long as she's not seriously mad at me, it'll be okay I guess. Then I'd hug her to keep her from being scared from the thunder.

I think in a way they are when watched from afar but I wonder how many share my view and it's more of fascinating but please just don't make it too close.

Too close as in distance from it? Yes it can be scary obviously but then again we all wouldn't want to get too close. Romantic from afar yes indeed.

Rainy day could be romantic. Some people I know they cry with this kind of weather. It is simple because they remember their failure relationship in the past.

I'm sure all those who have partners would love to snuggle and cuddle up. ... I'm sure that makes it romantic during a thunderstorm haha but yes it is exciting too

Rain is romantic. Bad storms are not. Not after you have experienced bad storms that cause damage or are life threatening.

I find rains without the thunder romantic....thunder annoys me. But if you had a storm...it was probably with thunder...

I do think they are romantic. My fiance and I both love a good thunder and lightning storm. We will snuggle and watch it together. I always feel so safe in his arms. It is my favorite place to be.
