According to the health experts, its advisable to take at least 8 glasses of water.Water is a major component in our body and it takes the highest percentage i our bodies.Even this is a simple advise that we all know of,it only remains our decision to practically take the recommended intake.
I don't usually take the 8 glasses, but I do take some water which I feel is enough for me.Also it's obvious to take more water when its hot because we lose more by sweating and to take less when its cold. But anyway its healthy to drink lots of water.

I once saw a TV show where the presenters tried to find out where the claim that we need 8 glasses originated from. They couldn't find any authoritative source for it. There is no doubt that we need a certain amount of water each day but we can get some of that from tea, etc.

No, I drink a lot of tea in the morning and some water at lunch and dinner but I think most of my liquid intake is in the morning. I never feel thirsty in the afternoon unless it's really hot.

No way do I drink this much water, but I try to drink it when I think of it. I fill up a water bottle and drink that throughout the day.

Actually 8 glasses is an estimate on the minimum requirement your body needs to functions. As to the actual amount of water needed depends on the individual. It depends on your daily losses from sweating, urinating, and etc. Higher activity usually needs more water replacement. And water you consume is not limited to just water, it can be from soups, juices, or even fruits. One such fruit with high water content is an apple. Try to vary the food you eat so that you won't have to feel constricted on how much you should eat. Eat light and often is usually better than eating large meals more seldom.

I don't actually measure and keep track but, yes, that's about how much water I drink each day. Water is pretty much all I drink. I'm guessing about 3/4 of a gallon to one gallon a day. Not quite as much as a horse. Sometimes I will drink fruit smoothies. Every 6 or 7 full moons or so I will have a frozen margarita. (Although it's been almost a year since my last one. Maybe it's about that time.)
