Normally I don't mind, we certainly get our share of it in the UK, but today I am going on vacation and after a dry hot spell it is pouring.. My timing couldn't be any worse..
I know we need rain and some countries don't get enough but did it have to come today!! How do you feel about rain?. do you welcome it or does it depress you?

Yes I prefer the sunshine although I know the Philippines can get unbearably hot at times. It must have been a nightmare getting soaked through.

I've never heard that before. Perhaps it was always raining when she split up from a partner.

@sprite1950 I think she is insinuating the rain pours so heavy that makes her feeling to cry. I find it weird too.

I like the rain but it can be depressing and make me feel lonely at times especially when I am alone with no one around me.

I don't welcome it if it's a non-stop rain leading to flood.

We had thunder yesterday but one of my dogs is terrified of it and shakes until the storm is over.

Sometimes it's nice, the clouds, the wind can be very refreshing. But if it rains constantly for days, and you aren't able to go out with friends or loved ones it can be depressing.

Rain would mean we can plant rice, so I take it as a blessing as long it isn't too much that it would become destructive on crops.

It depends. Sometimes I find it depressing especially if I have plans for the day and then it rains like you did. I know we need the rain Burton sometimes it seems to come at the worse possible time. Also if we have two of many rainy days in a row it will get me feeling down.
