Almost Done

All the furniture is now here. YEA! Praise God! However, there are still a lot of boxes that needs to get over here yet and I still haven't had any time to pack the kitchen. So that will be done before the weekend is over. I had hoped to be completely finished today, but such is not the case.
I do have a U-Haul sitting in my driveway at the house, so I will be going back over there yet tonight. My son still needs to get all his stuff from the house as well, plus we need to take garbage out tonight and we have a lot of it.
Besides the house, we still have the outside to take care of. They want the whole house and premises to be completely free of debris of any kind and the house broom swept. I'd like to say we're close to that stage, but we're getting there.
I also took care of getting the water taken care of so it's in the name of the loan company that is taking over as of the 30th. And I got my books down to Bosses book store and Tobacco Outlet. At least I think that's the whole name. It goes by Bosses. I'll be outside the store tomorrow night from 4-8 for my book signing.
It's all coming together. So right now we're both taking a time out. My son is at a movie with his girlfriend and I got my hair cut. Afterwards I stopped in Pier One Imports which is right behind my hairdresser's salon and looked for kitchen chairs, since I needed a couple pretty bad. The ones I have at the house are trash. I found the perfect chairs for my table. I need to sand the legs of the table and paint them. I'll do that to match the chair legs in an antique green.
The table is an antique metal top drop leaf table that belonged to my grandmother. Once I get it sanded and painted it will look beautiful. So that will be a future project. The chairs are perfect for it. At least I think so.
It's been a productive day and it's not over yet. Though I wish it were. I'm beat.

By the way, that's the right color for the walls for a change. I don't know why the walls always seem to come out a different shade.

what??? yer gonna refinish that table?? dang, i love't jest the way 't looks :( glad'ja found'ja some chairs, hon. i need to do the same 's my 45 yr ol' chairs aint fairin' to well these days. i fear i'm gonna hit the floor one day when i sit down. the hubs could repair 'em, but refuses :(
i'd sure hoped that'cha 'd gotten all moved, but understand the delays. best 'f luck with the book signin' :)

@crazyhorseladycx I saw a few comments that liked it just the way it is. I've had the table for quite a while now and haven't had the time to get it sanded and painted. We'll see what happens.

I'm all moved now. So you like the table the way it is? The paint is peeling off, and wouldn't take much to sand them and then repaint them. I thought painting them the same as the green in the legs of the chair would make it look nice. Especially as there is green in the table, which is why I chose those chairs.

@celticeagle I wish it were over and the house was back to normal without boxes still everywhere. I'm getting at them, just not fast enough to suit me.

Wow! That's a pretty table.The chairs are nice,too! For me,it looks vintage.i like anything that is vintage.

It is vintage. It was my grandmother's table. It's a metal top with wooden base.
