I can understand that working in night shift is not easy because your biological clock will be abnormal and it is not easy to find time to spend with your family and friends in the normal time. Perhaps you can try to listen to some relaxing music at night to see whether it is helpful for you to sleep at night in the office.

I'm sorry, I am sure that is hard. =( I hope you can find a way to get more sleep soon. Working night shift is not easy. I have done it in the past, good thing for me was I have never been someone who needs a lot of sleep.

During night shift I prefer taking tea. It keeps one awake and enable one attending the work. So even if one does not get sleep during the day it will be only for a temporary period. Afterwards, the body adjusts itself.

I had problems adjusting my work schedule as well. What I found most helpful was listening to rain meditation music since Rain has that soothing effect on me. Have you tried listening to music or meditation practices?
