I remember in some discussions in the old myLot how we speculated the owner could be a she with some feminine touch of the old layout - colorful stars, blue/green myLot icon on payday, and consistent payment system...

i notice some people want transparency, that x action = x amount. is that always a good thing for both owner and member?

@hereandthere Transparency can help, but it can also be a little tricky when these days there is far too much transparency in our personal lives online.

@hereandthere There's no transparency about the earning system on mylot...that's why it has been around so long Sometimes these sites that says action x equals payment y have to adjust things, and when they don't they shut Because mylot never says exactly what will earn what it makes people worry less about things and they have the opportunity to adjust the earnings if they make less revenue.

@cacay1 well, because JJ used to have a source in mylot that disappeared some time before they stopped paying. so, i think it's a new owner but not new to mylot.

Only the owners of very small concerns are usually their own moderator. While the owner does do some moderation (and keeps a close eye on the site), GoAskAlice is the principal moderator (Admin) and is employed by the owner.

@Shavkat Many sites owners do not want to officially appear, I can understand, with a site with many users like this he could be annoyed if they knew the name, his address and email.
