Cowal Games 2016

We had our Cowal Games at the weekend which involves lots of pipe bands coming to our town and playing music. Also lots of Scottish highland dancers competing. I can't say that I was very excited about it as our local Argyll and Bute council have done little to promote the one event in the whole year to push the event along. My orchestra were proud to be able to perform at the event and we were a very big success. So many people were positive and commented. So it is back to normal now that Monday has passed although I have been waiting in all day for a Hotpoint engineer to arrive to look at my new recently replaced tumble dryer. It isn't the best machine but the company Tweeted and said they would message me last night to confirm when the engineer was going to arrive. Typically though, no text message sent. At least it is sunny and gives me enough time to take advantage of my washing line whilst Hotpoint run around in circles. (c)NR2 2016/crystalvisions

I hope the dryer gets fixed pretty soon. I hate when a machine isn't working. We had to get a new washing machine recently and thankfully the machines are working fine. That Games event sounds like fun. I'm glad the orchesta went over well.

It's a shame when councils don't get behind these events. Hope your dryer gets fixed soon.
