Music That Means Something

Older music whether western or in our native languages.I find them more melodic.

I love the songs of the 60's, those were beautiful songs.

I like a lot of pop from the 90's and early 2000's because my kids grew up loving those songs and when I hear them I think of my young'uns. I also like pop oldies from the 50's and later and especially oldies in country music.

ol' country 'n western. i aint that fond 'f folk music fer some reason? prefer't o'er rap though, lol.

I like all kinds of music. I do really like folk music.

I like country, jazz, high pop, alternative, rock n roll, some christian songs, instrumentals like sax and piano.

I love all kinds of music but the pop music is usually my favorite.

I like all kinds of music but will always be partial to my 70's oldies. Sometimes its not the lyrics but the memories they like where I was when I first heard it. Many times they take me to my favorite place - Huntington Lake, and I visualize and can "hear" the wind, waves and music.

I've noticed for me, that it does not appear to be style or genre of music, but rather subject matter-it took me into my adult life to really comprehend this...but it explained why when I was a teen, people would get annoyed at me for listening to different styles of music (we tend to get classed with what we listened to, how we dressed, grunge or hip hop, etc.)...for me, it was about the meaning.

"Die a happy man" by Thomas Rhett. The song makes me feel special. I wish one day someone I love would sing that to me. I'll be the luckiest girl then.

Love the music that expresses how a person feels.

I love country music the best and I also like christian music. But, I'm not picky and will listen to just about anything except rap which I don't care for.
