I'm an old folkie. Although I like all kinds of music, my favorites are still the songs that mean something. I never really outgrew that.
What kind of music do you like the best?

I like a lot of pop from the 90's and early 2000's because my kids grew up loving those songs and when I hear them I think of my young'uns. I also like pop oldies from the 50's and later and especially oldies in country music.

We all have our tastes and folksy music crosses many genres. Transcendence is always the best and what most are honored by.

I like all kinds of music but will always be partial to my 70's oldies. Sometimes its not the lyrics but the memories they like where I was when I first heard it. Many times they take me to my favorite place - Huntington Lake, and I visualize and can "hear" the wind, waves and music.

I've noticed for me, that it does not appear to be style or genre of music, but rather subject matter-it took me into my adult life to really comprehend this...but it explained why when I was a teen, people would get annoyed at me for listening to different styles of music (we tend to get classed with what we listened to, how we dressed, grunge or hip hop, etc.)...for me, it was about the meaning.

Meaning is classy too.
Couldn't help listening to another from the same musician, this one also has meaning (for a while).
Plaisir d'amour. God bless.
A great story about playing in Denmark with Pete and Tao. It's great to see the visuals on this one. This is the first time Pete has heard Arlo tell this sto...

"Die a happy man" by Thomas Rhett. The song makes me feel special. I wish one day someone I love would sing that to me. I'll be the luckiest girl then.
