I was so unfortunate this afternoon. I been from the other school outside the city, so when I arrived in Cagayan de Oro City, I hired a taxi. After few minutes I noticed the car move on static. I looked at the driver in car mirror, and he also looked at me. What I did, I wore my very dark sun gasses so he cannot sense that I am observing him. I also lowered my head pretending to sleep . I just wanted to know why the car was always on static mood. The car stopped , and fortunately I saw the driver's movement. I wondered why he twisted his arms, moved his thighs, and moved his head; it seemed shaking. Then my heart throbbed so fast in fear and scare. I realized that driver is sick with cerebral palsy. Those are signs of having such sickness. We are at the middle of the long bridge and thankful of the traffic. I was indeed so afraid. I did not talk to the driver. I did not alight to transfer; he might cry. I was wondering why he is allowed to drive. What if he will have a sudden and non-stop attack in the road? There will surely be an accident to happen. I am so thankful to God for having reached home safe despite troubled driving.Until now, I am scared of some unknowns. Thanks for reading and let us always be safe. Image credit by Facebook

Did you not call 911 so that rescue could come for the driver?

@cacay1 You did right, Ms. Erly, but it would have been better if you called for help for him. Anyway, I'm glad you arrived safely and he seemed okay after.

He must still be reported to LTO or the owner of the taxi and tell the reason why he continues to drive despite having that disease. It can cause accidents.

Yes, Jin, I will call my cousin tomorrow in LTO to report that driver. He must not drive. His sickness is serious, what if he will have a serious attack? The car would surely run anywhere.

@Yar_Joey , yes I jot down the plate number. That driver must not be allowed to drive. So shocking actions of the driver. What if his eyes went blank?

Maybe he never told his bosses he has it and so takes chances not only with his life but others in the cab as well.

@Hannihar I reported that case to the police and the police reported it to the Land Transportation Office to disfranchised the operator if allowing again the driver to drive.

t was indeed a scary ride. I got the plate number so I can call the LTFRB, to disfranchise the taxi operator for hiring incapacitated driver.

Yes, Judy, me too, was so surprised. The people in the land Transportation office did nit do their job religiously. They did not let the applicants submit medical certificate which is very important,
