Do you still believe in God?

Several studies show that people today no longer believe in it. I am 18 and go to church every Sunday since I can remember, but I do not agree with many things that are happening within it.
I believe in God but do not know what to think about the church or if I should influence this.

I do believe in God, but I am not really religious. I am grateful to Him and thank him occasionally, and I believe He loves me and will do the best for me, but I don't follow most of the practices dictated by religion.

@AmyRo18 Yes, spirituality and religion are different things. Which one do you practice more precisely?

I donĀ“t remember when and if I believed in God. But I respect all the people that do. From all religions.

You don't need to go to church to 'prove' that you're religious, don't feel like that's a requirement to your faith. If attendance is important to you then of course you should go, but it's completely fine to disagree with some of the things they say there and to want to practice your faith in ways that you believe are right. God will love you no matter what.

honestly? I don't think anyone can tell you how you are supposed to feel on this... You need to be comfertable with what you do and how you feel about it. For instance, everyone in my home believes in something different. I am not religious...but i do find peace in the teachings of Buddha. So it is up to you Amy. Try to find what brings you peace. That will be the right way for you.

In my teens I stopped believing in God, mainly because my religion did not make any sense, teachings such as trinity and hellfire. When I turned twenty, I went on a search for God and looked at different religions and philosophies and started reading the Bible for myself and regained my faith. My faith is not dependent on how many people believe in God or what other people do. My faith stands on my knowledge and experience in life. Yes, I believe in God!

There was this man who would not listen to the church leaders. He broke with tradition. On Sunday he walked with his friends eating as they went without washing to the elbows as the elders of the church at that time said must happen. His name was Jesus. I will follow him not men in a church. My belief with God will always be stronger.
