Both are really need to give attention or focus, but being a student is more enjoyable. A student, they just need to sit, listen and then goes home with learnings and are able to bond with friends whenever they want. They have nothing to think about but just not get a failing grades however, I am not telling that students do not suffer. My point is being an employee has to do budgeting and everything which related on how could sustain the daily needs of her/his family.
But I believe all of our hardworks, whether you are a student or an employee will be payoff, maybe not tomorrow but soon.

It is funny because when you are a student you get wait to finish so you can get a job. Then when you have a job you wish you were a student again.

@Happy2BeMe yeah mam, sometimes we think life is so imbalance but we do not know it happened because of the choice we have chosen.
And it just in our mind. Can't get contented on where are or what we have right now.

@anushady yhup once, I became a student and now working so I know how it feels. Aside from having a lot of free time to have fun, it is less stress.

I think that depends on the course. It was difficult being a law student. We were expected to recite cases and provisions of the law in all our subjects on a daily basis. Not to mention, the exams, quizzes and case digests that we have to pass. When I was still in law school, I worked at daytime and attended my law classes from 5:30-9 pm. If I were to compare, being a student then, is more difficult than being an employee of the Firm.

@rina110383 you have a good point also!
I know how it feels coz I used to do both studying and working before, I was an assistant of a person who handles very confidential cases and she also act like a lawyer. but I guess yours is morethan difficult than mine coz you do more study to be a good one in your chosen field

Getting a job is being part of our life because for everything we need money
getting education is the most important factor of life, without a student role we can't able to achieve good position in our society, both have their own values..and both are interelated

I think it depends on your family's status, as well. Nowadays, many young people start their work and still for years they won't have any actual need to pay for their living. So they can find different uses for the money they earn - for things which maybe they couldn't afford while being a student.
A fancy outfit, savvy gadgets or traveling abroad are things which maybe one couldn't afford while being a student and neither when being married with children... but these can be pretty much within one's grasp when having an acceptable salary, yet having your family pay out for your housing and daily needs..

Even though I already finished a degree and two short courses, I still study at home. Currently, I am still unemployed. Still waiting for my visa to be approved.
Work is also enjoyable. I'm exposed in hotels and restaurants that's why work for me is fun.

Some of us enjoyed being a student than working or vise versa but there also some people enjoys both.
In your case you are belong who have chosen both, I guess

My student life was fun, but so is my current life and work. Challenges are always there no matter what you do.

@Macarrosel agree with you mam but it differs when he/she is a working student.
But it is in him/her on how to manage her time to execute a good performance on his/her study and work.
