how many hours in a day can you stare at the computer? / myLot

How many hours in a day can you stare at the computer? Do you ever feel that your eyes are getting tired? In a day, I can stare at the computer for four to five hours straight due to my online job. After that, I can feel that there is something wrong with my eyesight that I cannot describe what.. When I close my eyes for few minutes it, goes away. I don't wash my eyes after staring at the computer for long hours because I read somewhere that it's not good. I need to try the eye exercise video that I saw this morning. Has anyone here felt the same?..

I usually spend my time 12 hours in front of a computer.

At work i have to stare 9hours at the computer. I think i am too used to it. Don't feel especially tired anymore..

I have to stare at the screen pretty much all day for my job too. Then there's all the leisure stuff on top - social media, MyLot, etc. Amazingly my eyes don't seem to be affected by it.
