It is a fact that everyone feels envious or jealous to someone especially if they have achieve something and you don't. This is also due to our insecurities in life. That's why sometimes we tried to say negative or even bad things to that person to hide our insecurities. This often lead to quarrels and misunderstandings.
Honestly, I accept that I feel envious or jealous to other people but when I feel that way, I pray hard, ask God to guide me and to give me peace of mind. Then I will be challenged and be inspired to work hard and think deeply that someday soon I will surpass the achievements and advantages that they got.
Do you sometimes feel envious or jealous to anyone? Be honest

You should always know what's your worth, where you belong and more importantly who are you. Knowing us in a deeper level do make us do things which we will shine for. Always remember that you are here for some reason, due to some past, for some decisions and/or due to some circumstances.
Knowing what is going on in other's life is good. But as a general information about what's going on with the people surrounded by us. Sometimes some information about other people do make you jealous because somehow their life seems greater and something which we deserve as well. Jealousy is natural, but a mature decision would be to think about who you are, and understanding your needs. If it is that others have something you deserve and that's what making you jealous, then work for it to be yours.
And there is something important for everyone to know- no one's life is perfect. Some ups and downs, some highs and lows are very natural! So, no need to be jealous, they are someone like us! :)

Yes, you have a good point. Many manage to control their emotions of being envious to someone.

@Macarrosel I'm sorry that you have that bad experience with your neighbours, but not everyone is like that.

Yes, I know that as we grow older we seldom feel envy. But I can still see some older people so envious of other people. Like my neighbors, both husband and wife are old, maybe in their late 60', but they are so envious of what we have that they always make gossips and talk bad things behind our back.

To be honest I do not feel envious or jealous but a feeling how do these people forget the roots. We helped them and they became millionaires and they ignore us. Thanks to Almighty, we are happy and blessed with all what we need in life. They have become a show piece among their own category, uncertainty of happiness.

Sometimes I do but during those times, I learn to look at myself and appreciate what I have and not dwell on what I don't have.

I feel envious of those people who can travel from one country to another non-stop. I wish I could do the same thing too.

We all have the power to Choose what we deem important. So many times we choose to value the physical things like money, a fancy car or a big house. Maybe we think having these things makes us important but does it really?
We are all Spiritual beings in our true natures. Perhaps, if we strive for the Spitiual things, there will be no need to be jealous. With Spiritual things, if we see someone at a higher level, we work at being just like them. You can't get to that higher level stepping on someone else's back. In the end, everybody wins.
Life is the education of God's children. The stage is set for the lessons we are to learn. Somehow the things we end up with are just what we need. After all, how many are really better off after they win the lottery?

It is there...but it is rare...I know now that just because it LOOKS good....doesn't mean it is. Most people are faking it ....and some are trying to cover up for some other glaring flaw in their life that they wish to bury.
Just because someone LOOKS well off....doesn't mean they are.
