A tape was released revealing Donald Trump's conversation with Billy Bush who at the time, was the host of the TV show Access Hollywood. In this tape, Trump makes lewd and degrading comments about women. Members of the GOP [Republican] party -- his own party -- have withdrawn their support. He referred to a woman's private parts using vulgar terminology and generally claimed that he could get away with groping women because he's famous. Trump defended himself by saying that Bill Clinton -- former US president, and husband of Trump's opponent Hillary Clinton -- has made comments about women that were worse. He also justified the comments as "locker-room trash-talking" We all know that when men get together, they talk about business, sports and women, and the language can get lewd. Was Trump's trash-talking just the usual "guy talk" or a reflection of who he is?

Well Bill Clinton have Rape allegations against him. Also majority of men objectifies women when women are not around. Women also does it. I do not like both presidential candidates though.

Amen to that...I agree. Clinton was impeached and we need to do the same to Trump. Yes, I know that misogynous, anti-male, anti-gay, anti-everything comments are made in private conversation, but should not be tolerated in anyone who runs for president.

I think fame made him a bit boastful! I agree men talk about women in friendly chats . . and, for sure, women talk about men, too.

Men say things. I find the little turd that released a tape that should not have existed more troubling to be honest. A private conversation is just that-private.

I am bored with all these low blows that should not take place in a political campaign. You have not to be famous to grope a woman, you have just to be a boor...

nobody said you have to be famous to demean anyone, but when you are famous, you are accountable, and certainly more so when you are running for president of the United States. No conversations are private when you are a public figure. When you run for president, you must be beyond reproach, sorry to say.

@fec139 That is the difference between France and USA : we put a barrier between politics and private life ; any politician is free to do what he wants with his private life, and is not "accountable" for that. Nobody cares about the number of the lovers of a president, the only thing important is what he does politically. To give you an example, it is the centenary of the birth of Pdt Mitterrand this year, which was a great president : there is a 2 Euros coin issued for the centenary, but also a collection of letters to a lover, printed with the consent of his "regular" family...
