Thinking of a simple but unique way to decorate my home for this festival, I finally choose crystal salt as medium.I was not sure till i have completed it,the colours gave different look to the salt. It took me 20 minutes ,free hand drawing was my base and then arranging salt crystals took a bit time.Have anyone tried this kind of art decoration for any celebrations. Photo : The pic belongs to me , it's my art

It is nice. I have never done it with salt...just colored sand.

I tried with sand also but crystal salt needs lesser amounts of coloured powder than sand. But sand creates more details in work.

I have not tried that kind of art for celebrations or anything else. It looks neat, but it must be time consuming.

How did you dye the salt without dissolving it?
