A little windfall .... / myLot

And no... I don't mean autumn leaves.... I mean money...,

I was looking for something, that I thought I had Kept, and knew where it was in my room..., but, I could not find it, but..., I did find something else .... American Dollars.... $128.00 of them yeeeyyy, which is good, because we are travelling to the USA, to spend Christmas with family. Thing is though.., they were not where I thought I'd put them, so I'm very glad I found them, as I would have been disappointed, if I could not find them, and I probably would not have thought to look, in the place where I found them today ... so, i'm sitting here very pleased, and with a smile on my face, and..., I have put them, where I thought i'd put them last time, so i'll know where to find them.

Do you sometimes get pleasant little surprises like that, I must admit I do, as I put money in my phone walllet , or my purse or somewhere else and forget its there...until the next time I use it...

I hide money all the time, have done it since I was a kid. I forget about and then it turns up sometimes when I least expect it and it's a nice surprise. Where in US are you visiting?

yes it is a nice surprise when it happens... @AbbyGreenhill ... we will be going to fredricksberg virginia... but also hope to have a drive around the surrounding area and crossing a couple of state lines.... weather permitting ..

Yes, I remember I wrote a post about some money I found hidden in an old pair of boots. I hide money just to have some at home and then I forget.

Where are you visiting in the states? I would enjoy that kind of windfall. The most I ever put back is five to ten dollars.

That feels great when you find money that you forgot you tucked away. And perfect timing for you. I put on a jacket the other day and found a 20 dollar bill in it-woohoo it made my day!

That sure is a find I would love to find! I keep finding lots of things I've been missing....not in the places where they should be. Now if I could just find the fabrics I have cut for making microwave hot pads.....

I have had that happen before. I hide money at tines in different places then forget about it until I find it again. Lol. It's always nice finding them! =)

Last week, because my school is far away from home, I went home by train in the evening. I suddenly work up with unknown reason about 1 am, and I noticed some money at my feet. At that time there were few people, so I picked it up. Athough only a dozen yuan, I also very happy.
