Which would you prefer... a cup of Tea or a mug of Coffee..............

Feel free to correct me........the British love their tea and the Americans their coffee. Have I got it right so far......... Each has their own way of preparing their favourite brew........ My brother ,the tea planter says the correct way of making a cup of tea is to pour boiling water over the tea leaves. Let it stand for five minutes..Then in a cup add sugar and milk and last of all pour in the tea. My SIL cooks her tea .Yes ,she actually boils the water and tea leaves together for a few minutes till it becomes a poisonous concoction, then adds the milk and sugar. The other SIL loves her coffee. She pours boiling water over powdered coffee beans, lets it stand overnight.next morning she adds jaggery and boiling hot water to the brew. Surprisingly it tastes delicious. Which one do you prefer? How do you make a cup of tea or coffee?.

I would prefer coffee in my travel mug. But I do drink tea on occasion. I like my coffee light and sweet; so with a packet of sweetener and plenty of creamer. :)

@jennyjoy Yeah, and I love the flavors. I drink regular of course, but I also like French vanilla, vanilla caramel, hazelnut, white raspberry mocha and Thin Mints. :)

Adding creamer makes the coffee richer and it is more filling,I think.

i like to have a hot cup of coffee in the morning to kick start my day and green tea in the middle of the day....the way i prepare coffee and tea are similar. i'll put a tablespoon of sugar and a dash of coffee on my mug and just pour over the hot water and stir & same way with the preparation of tea.

@jennyjoy Italians are "espresso" drinkers, because most of them do not like at all the so called "American" coffee. To leave the coffee grinds in water for hours increase the concentration of caffeine, the longer it stays, the more unhealthy the coffee is.

A cup of tea or a mug of coffee.. It's a difficult question. I prefer coffee, but a mug of it is too much for me. I like a cup of coffee with milk.

If the coffee is strong then a mug full may be too much to drink.

A simple drink but the taste changes depending on how you put it together ,the order of things.many consider this to be the right way.
