what can you do if one of the side of the earphone system of the notebook is not working ?

I thought that it might be something wrong with my earphone, so I use anew one. Later on , I found out that my earphone set has no problem, but the one inside my computer has problem. Do you think the only way I can fix it is to bring it to the computer repair guys to fix it for me ? Share with me.

@wildlittlefan when did you purchase your notebook?Be sure that if you will be bringing it to a repair shop or store it is under warranty so that you will not pay for it's repair.Secondly ., when did you notice that the speaker of the notebook is defective?Did it fell before it happened?And do you see error message when you connect an earphone?
