What wish from the child makes you feel sad?

wish

I joined in some parents groups online so that we can often share many information. Yesterday I heard one parent mentioned her situation. Her husband had been unemployed for a few years and she works and supports the family all these years. I am very surprised to hear that since her income isn't that much. Perhaps that money can be OK for me but it is not possible for me to support a family. They live in a house about 30 square meters. Her child is as the same age to my son. She said her child's wish is to have her own room. I really felt sad to hear that because it seems it is just a common wish.

It is more like a dream, to be frank. The house is crazy expensive here...

@youless I think dreaming is good. Maybe one day she can get it.

30 square meters sound quite small. The wish that makes me feel sad is wishing the parents can spend more time with the kids. Some parents I know are living well and still wish they can earn more money, so the kids can live better. But, sometimes the kids just want the parents to be with them.

Yes, I can understand it. Some rich people may not want to spend more time with their children. But they don't know that the material doesn't matter everything.

It is really a sad thing to hear young wishes. I am not sure but parents sacrifice a lot of things just to give good things for their child.

Yes, parents already try hard to offer the best for children.

That wish would make me sad. Kids need their own space and it is sad when they do not have their own space.

Yes, this wish seems to be small to some children. But not every child is so lucky.
