What wish from the child makes you feel sad?

I joined in some parents groups online so that we can often share many information.
Yesterday I heard one parent mentioned her situation. Her husband had been unemployed for a few years and she works and supports the family all these years. I am very surprised to hear that since her income isn't that much. Perhaps that money can be OK for me but it is not possible for me to support a family.
They live in a house about 30 square meters. Her child is as the same age to my son. She said her child's wish is to have her own room. I really felt sad to hear that because it seems it is just a common wish.

30 square meters sound quite small. The wish that makes me feel sad is wishing the parents can spend more time with the kids. Some parents I know are living well and still wish they can earn more money, so the kids can live better. But, sometimes the kids just want the parents to be with them.
