@JudyEv The stock market has already reacted. So sad for all those people with money there.

@ElizabethWallace I suppose both of them were probably unsuitable candidates so the electorate were caught between a rock and a hard place. But then again they voted for them as the respective party nominees so really only have themselves to blame.
As the saying goes, we get the politicians we deserve!!

No, it says more about the country than either of them.

We cannot be sure what kind of day it really was until some time in the future. Time will tell!

Things are not always as bad as they appear. I am going to have positive thoughts and hope that everything turns out well.

It's a bad day for democracy as more people voted for clinton than trump....so I'd say any anti trump protests should be about electoral reform as the election is done and dusted.
But I also think his rhetoric in the campaign was designed to get votes from certain population sections...I don't believe he's going to start ww3 or anything.
The first sign of his real intent will be when he names his team....so I'll just wait and see as I remember the brexit backlash and all the fearmongering then that came to nothing.

I'm just roaming around reading what others think. I sure have seen a couple of die hard Trump supporters bashing anyone who says differently.

We have no choice but to wait and see. How much trouble can he get us into in 4 years... only time will tell.
I'm glad I live in Canada.

I did. I won't be watching or reading the news for the next four years. I can't.
