Kalimera everyone - Good Morning on this fine Greek Friday wherever you are. I woke to an ear-worm that I just cannot shake and in my letterbox was a lovely message and walk-about from John - thank you dear fella @ison_1 So postal greetings from Newark on Trent, a song from France and a Greek Kalimera on this glorious Friday. Pretty much a fruit-salad of places. I have much to do today with a list as long as my arm - the Dance festival is tomorrow and time is of the essence. enjoy the song! Kalimera Katerina. All over the world -

That's a lovely postcard. They have chosen a lovely sunny day for their photos.

@ison_1 I agree, you could probably date the photograph by comparing it against weather records.

Newark played a very important role during the Civil War due to being an easy way to cross the River Trent. It was under siege for months by Cromwell's forces and the Royalists even struck their own coinage there. PS: Check the spelling in your title.

the Wolrd had to be a little upside down for a while until I got it sorted out this morning to the right-side-up WORLD

And now I have a satirical imitation of Françoise Hardy made years ago in Italy in my mind. It was funny.

I have never even heard of her. Of course I rarely listen to French music because I find the language unsuitable.

@LadyDuck I checked on YouTube and she seems to be virtually whispering at times with the voice then being amplified.

@Asylum She had moved from France and she was hired by the Italian TV. She was there every night and so a popular comic started to make fun of her. I never liked this singer so much.

@Inlemay - And a nice summery greeting to you from a really hot wintry day up here in South Texas, USA. I really thought well of that nifty collage you posted of Newark on Trent. Fortunately it shows nothing at all like the Newark that sits in the armpit of the USA state of New Jersey. Keep smiling. -Gus-

Is this the one you were sewing costumes for? That was not much time to get it done. Enjoy!
