Some states here in the US allow driving while using a cell phone but other states do not allow it so it is not banned in all the states. It should be banned though so people would pay more attention to driving and maybe fewer accidents would occur.

In my country, Australia, it's not allowed. It's something like a $350 fine and 3 demerit points. If you get 12 demerit points in 3 years you lose your license.

In my country if the police cathes you talking on the phone while driving you get a ticket. But you are allowed to use a phone only if it has hands-free.

In most of the countries there are rules and regulations against usage of cell phone while driving. But who bothers? Our people had an adventurous attitude against anything. When you say something don't. They will do it. Better ask them to do it, then they will not do it.

In my country there is no such restriction. I personally feel that using cell phone while driving should be prohibited.

I live in the U.S., it's not illegal in the country but in some states and cities it is. Where I live it isn't, and I do talk on the phone while driving on occasion. I don't think it should be forbidden but I think people should use caution.
