Sunday evening...another weekend is all but over

I can't believe how quickly this weekend went by. Well I never did get my tree decorated but it is sitting there with the lights on. I will get to it eventually. I didn't do much today. Just puttered around tidying up and doing the housework that needed to be done. I never even went outside today but it has been raining hard most of the day. I watched 3 more episodes of The Crown. I think I have two more to watch before I am done. I will watch those some evening through the week. I am really enjoying it.
I have been mylotting on and off all weekend, trying to keep up with all the discussions. It seems like it has been busier then usual here this weekend so that is good. Back to work in the morning. It is going to be a busy week. Things at work really pick up this time of year.
I hope to be in bed early tonight so I can be well rested for the week ahead. Hope everybody enjoyed their weekend.

The weekend DID go by so quickly! I probably won't get to the tree until a couple more weeks - like you said, it'll get done eventually. We had off and on showers (mostly off) but I'm hoping for some big rain (not sure if it will happen). This week the kids have it off from school - so it'll be busy here in a different but good way. Hope you get a good night's sleep - have a great week!

You're ahead of me, our tree won't get put up for another couple of weeks.
But I did manage to get the dining room fully decked out.
I have our snowman and Santa collection out, a nice festive tablecloth on the table, but lots more stuff to pull out yet.
I have my ingredients bought and put away for when the urge to bake strikes me.

Weekends seem to go by rather quickly. My weekend sure did. We don't have our tree up. We'll probably get it the first or second weekend of december. We were really busy over the weekend with my daughter's birthday, and only usually start thinking of Christmas after.

I am "taking it easy" and staying off my feet today. Doctor's orders. As I was cleaning earlier this weekend I moved two little homemade trees outside to the porches. They are lit but not plugged in. I have two more along that line, homemade and small, but need to figure out the logistics of lighting things. I cannot really get up and walk and do stuff, though. Too much pain.
