A spring walk

Today Diesel Dog and I went off for our daily walk. Lately he is a lot slower and has arthritis. He tends to stop and sniff rather than try to chase everything in sight . Other that this he is doing well for a 14 year old dog and I have noticed that when an attractive female dog comes past he is quite happy to stop and try and make friends. Along the way I noticed a Jacaranda tree and as I looked I couldn't help but notice how it looked against the brilliant blue sky. The picture doesn't really do it justice although I did take a couple of pics while Diesel dog just sat and rested at my feet.

I remember you writing about how active he was and a bit of a handful. Seems we all slow down with age. :)

@JudyEv Old age does slow us down, but in my mind I think I'm about 26 and at times Diesel Dog acts as if he is a pup except when he remembers his real age

What a beautiful tree. I am sure it must have look stunning against the sunshine and blue skies. Pictures never seem to capture the true beauty. Even though Diesel Dog is getting old I am glad that he still enjoys his daily walks and checking out the female dogs he meets along the way!

@Happy2BeMe Although most of our trees don't lose their leaves this Jacaranda does seem to be thinning out a bit. You are right tho it did look stunning against the blue.
