A spring walk

Today Diesel Dog and I went off for our daily walk. Lately he is a lot slower and has arthritis. He tends to stop and sniff rather than try to chase everything in sight . Other that this he is doing well for a 14 year old dog and I have noticed that when an attractive female dog comes past he is quite happy to stop and try and make friends.
Along the way I noticed a Jacaranda tree and as I looked I couldn't help but notice how it looked against the brilliant blue sky. The picture doesn't really do it justice although I did take a couple of pics while Diesel dog just sat and rested at my feet.

What a beautiful tree. I am sure it must have look stunning against the sunshine and blue skies. Pictures never seem to capture the true beauty. Even though Diesel Dog is getting old I am glad that he still enjoys his daily walks and checking out the female dogs he meets along the way!

Although most of our trees don't lose their leaves this Jacaranda does seem to be thinning out a bit. You are right tho it did look stunning against the blue.
