Everyday biases that affect our decisions

Life is about taking decisions and moving on. We do it a number of times every day. Can you list a few cognitive biases that affect our capacity to take decisions? E.g. When someone meets new people, he or she gets comfortable quickly with those who are from same gender or place. Not necessary that the person is really good, but it is our mental bias that since the person is from same place I can get along well with him/her. All of us go through numerous such situations everyday, where our personal mental bias leads us to take decisions. What are yours?

Like someone from a particular culture being more comfortable with someone from the same culture.

@Kandae11 you said it wright. In fact that is very much the basis of having different countries and clans. People of same cast or creed like to come together and form groups. It not only gives them a sense of security but also helps their life become easy. Sometimes biases make our living worth it!!
