Bless the Lord O My Soul

We had to cancel church today for Olive Tree Church. I am not well and there is not a lot I can do. Other are sick too.
Church building is very frustrating while you are still small. However, I am learning to be creative. Even a setback becomes a blessing if you look for what you can make of it.
I plan on a bigger service and some events in December. The local shop says I can get some carol singing going outside so I am stocking up on mince pies. I plan to invite people to a get together with a service first.
Today I will write a devotional for the Olive Tree blog and do another YouTube sermon. I want to do something for the fearful. A friend has a non Christian wife who suffers from fear and one of my own family lives in a state of perpetual anxiety and fear.
Part of the vision is to reach people who cannot get to church. I would also prefer the room filled with people who do not believe rather than getting people from other churches. That is why things take so long.
I really need to find a musician and work out legal stuff for music so I can do a whole servicE online.
For now links to YouTube will have to do. I thought I would share my favourite chorus with you. Somehow whenever I preach this theme comes in. We all have a message for the world that is particularly what God gave us today and I learned in a very dark place to praise God for even my troubles.
I was suicidal. I asked God what to do. He said "Praise Me." I did. Things changed. I used to go and pray looking at a cross at a church in town. Several years later I preached my first sermon. It was in the same church building standing under that same large cross above the pulpit.
My friends are amazed. I changed from someone who was completely broken into person who was healed of all sorts of things including the chronic depression I was suffering from in the year 2000. I had many reasons to be depressed. Thanking God for each one was the hardest thing I ever did.
I hope you will enjoy the song even if you do not share my faith. It expresses a lot about how God changed my life.

I am listening on it now. It is indeed a very good song. I really need it. I have been having a problem with my temper. I pray that God will direct my path. Give me an understanding heart. May I love the bad kids more rather than hate them.

@Jackalyn Prayer works and can move mountains. Those are the things that always remind me whenever I feel like I am losing hope.

@annierose If I could only tell you how many mountains I have seen move. Prayer is the key.
