I want to put my digital photos online for friends and family to see/download/ print. What service would you recommend-- Flickr? Shutterfly? Picassa? Also, I use a Mac, so the service would have to be Mac-compatible. Thanks!

I prefer Flickr. It has a great sense of community, moreso than any other photo sharing site, in my opinion. They do have some great bulk-uploading tools for the Mac, too. My photos are at www.flickr.com/photos/antizim - if you sign up, add me as a contact.

I use photobucket. I like how you can seperate your photos into files, plus the linking capabilities.

I've used Snapfish a bunch and you have the option to not make your friends sign up when they check out your pictures... I've used Photobucket too, but that was for pics that I wanted to post on someones myspace or blog...

Photobucket is more of an image hosting site, so when you put pictures you can send them through a tag or post them on a page using the ulr... Snapfish is the one that people can view and buy prints from...

I use picturetrail also. It's free for awhile, or used to be. Then, if you want to increase how many pictures you want to store and show, you can buy the yearly upgrade which costs $20. I've been using it for several years and is totally worth it! http://picturetrail.com/estherlou
