I like paper bags because the groceries don't spill out everywhere. The plastic are OK, you can carry a bunch of the bags, the only trouble is, they are recycled now, not very strong, and the baggers don't put much in each bag. This leads to an EXCESSIVE amount of bags at my house. I bet you have a bunch too.

I agree. I like paper better but the store I shop at just uses plastic. I have to tie them all up to keep things from spilling out on the way home. Maybe we should start a picket line! LOL

I like to use plastic bags because I can use them in my little garbage pails in the bathrooms. I also use them in my baby's diaper pail! It's alot cheaper than the Diaper Genie!

I didn't think anyone still did paper bags anymore, that would be really classic to see.

Let´s save the nature - This river is still free, not used to produce electricity.
It is Torne River between Sweden and Finland.
In Sweden we have to pack our own groceries and I often use plastic bags with handles which are rather easy to carry home. I think people used shopping bags before plastic bags were invented, that was better for the environment.
