The Media that only reports bad thing and never mind the good things; is that BIAS?

Right now we are experiencing bias media in our country they only report those things the made our government bad as if there is no good things that is happening.
And the bad for that is when they aired it outside the country the feedback ruin our leader. Even our history is affected of what they are trying to happen which is not true. Actually our country i can say right now is almost healed in all bad elements that covered it, but they didn't even mention any improvement that happen here.
What do you think of this?

the media should report the truth whether the news is good or bad - sadly it is rarely the case anywhere in the World nowadays

@deadreak Yes , in peaceful years , the negative media can stimulate the government to improve itself constantly ,but the power of negative media should be restrained properly . But when war is coming,the government needs to solidarity, those negative medias will be wiped off.
