I still remember that day in school, I was 6. The Nun told us to thank our parents and to remember that Christmas is about the birth of Jesus and not about the gifts. A little early to have such a big deception the week before Christmas. Nuns are always lovely.

I don't remember. I think it just figured it out over time and kids at school always talk so of course I heard it there. Sorry to hear that you found out the way you did. That must have been so terrible for you. I never told my kids. They figured it out on their own in time.

Since Christmas is not our official festival, so I learn that Santa Clause is not in real. But I still want my son to have a good imgination and memory. So I have never told him that Santa Clause is not in real. And every year I secretly gave him a nice Christmas gift on behalf of Santa Clause

If you wanna know how Christmas has began must read the bible Christmas is all about Jesus, reindeer and Santa Claus is not there. And most of us know that Santa Claus shows only at Christmas season and i never seen Santa Claus ever since and never written on the bible, The reason why I don't believe Santa Claus exist.

Oh my gosh, that's an awful way to find out and so young too! I found out when I was around 13. I didn't want to know until then-I wanted to believe in the magic still. I finally asked my mother. She told me once I tell you I can never take the words back again. I said I wanted to know. She told me and I wanted so bad to get the magic back but couldn't, it made me terribly sad.
When my children ask me I will tell them what my mother told me-I feel that's the best way.

My Dad tripped. He rarely drank. I never saw him drunk, but about that particular night I have my suspicions.

I guess I found out through the kids at school when the question came up and some kid always had to spoil it

It used to get talked about a lot at school and gradually we just all worked it out. But we pretended to believe so that we'd still get presents from him.

When I was a kid I never heard Santa, Only when I grew up. I know santa was not real because before, I tried to put a sock in our window and nothing has changed it was the same empty sock I left until night ended.
