Well, finally we know. Two juveniles were erested today for the fire at Gatlinburg. The fire did this-- 17,006 acres burned, 14 people killed, 150 injured, and 1700 homes and businesses destroyed. People were able to go back to their homes last Friday. They are thinking of charging the juveniles as adults. I hope they do.

@Jessicalynnt .....Fire starting and a fascination with is also one of the young symptoms of serial killers. The other two are bedwetting and dissecting animals.

@celticeagle I thought bedwetting was a sign of abuse, then again, I suppose that would go with that all as well

@crazyhorseladycx .....I think that if they are tried as adult that would go off the table. If they are tried as teens then the parents would also be responsible. If you see what I mean.

@Hatley ....I hope so. They need to make it long so others will not do such a thing in the future.

With as much damage as the fire caused they should be tried as adults.

How sad for the families who lost loved ones. And for the people who lost their homes. What did they do that started the fire?

Wow that is awful. What a thing to have to live with knowing what they done. If tried as adults what kind of sentence would they be facing?

If the juveniles are over 13 they should certainly be charged as adults because they are old enough to know right from wrong. What an awful burden they have to live with. How horrible for all those who lost loved ones and their homes. How senseless.

I didn't hear this report. I'm so glad they found out who was responsible. How old were these teens? They certainly need to be charged as adults. What an awful thing they did, costing 14 lives and all that destruction of forested acres and home and businesses.

Yes, they haven't decided how to charge them yet. Hopefully as adults.

They are not giving out details, but to be charged as adults they are probably 'older' teens.

@AbbyGreenhill I haven't heard ONE report on the teens as of yet and I listen to the evening news every night. I will be watching out for the details.
