I like my husband best clean shaven, especially since he had a moustache from the day we met until he shaved it 30 years later. He looks younger. My sons are a part of the hipster era and sport slight beards and moustaches. They are handsome to me, but I prefer their baby faces. Their respective better halves prefer the hair.

@DianneN From your observation, moustaches and beards make people look older.

I do not like any hair on a mans face! It reminds me of a Back Woods Hillbilly a scary one

@1hopefulman His is a bit longer than a stubble. But at least not too much. He's unwilling to compromise on that area.

So, a beard has to suit the individual. He has to able to pull it off, but if he does, does he still have a beard?

Moustache, no beard...I don't mind a goatee though just not a full beard. Depends on the guy though some keep them well trimmed and they look nice.

I have been nursing a cold for a week and I haven't shaved and kind like a bit of a beard. I actually hate shaving. Hmmm?

@1hopefulman I can understand why you would. It must be a bit of a pain at times having to shave all the time.

I'm not generally a beard fan @1hopefulman but that guy in the picture looks pretty sexy with one.

@db20747 It's a matter of taste and how it looks. Some men look good and some not so good.

I've had a beard for over 40 years. There is no way in heck I would ever go back to shaving every single day. I keep my beard trimmed very short. It drives me cuckoo when it gets more than a centimeter and a half long. Speaking of shaving, I had a girlfriend once a hundred years ago who refused to shave her armpits. To my surprise I found that it was a wee bit of a turn on.

Great! I guess there might be a reason why armpits have hair.

So, a beard is an individual thing. It all depends.

With beard & moustache. I am not a woman, but like men with beard & moustache. Most of the men do not able to grow beard naturally and for that most of the products are readily available online these days. My brother got some beard growth products from Beardilizer ( and within few weeks he got satisfactory results. I am also planning to purchase some products like beard spray/beard cream for maintaining my beard for this Christmas.
