what famous celebrity would you like to have coffee with.
Wow!so many I would have.But if I had a choice of one then it has to be
Barbara Streisand.I have been a fan of hers for years.
Albums and most of the movies I saw etc.
I would love to spend an hour just to talk and look at her.
How about you?what famous celebrity would you like.

Wow, I sat for over 5 minutes pondering who I would choose. Several came to mind. Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt, Meryl Streep, and Robert Redford, to name a few. I don't think I could narrow it down to just one.

If by celebrity you mean any popular public figure, I would like to have coffee with David Gilmour. Some people my age might remember him as the guitarist from Pink Floyd. He inspired me to pick up the guitar at age 40 and I had a lot of fun with it till my fingers and wrists started hurting so badly. If he was not available I would choose Herb Alpert, the famous trumpet master who is so generous to young musicians; he has spent millions on scholarships and musical education for those who can't afford it.

@amadeo I interact with Mr. Alpert--or whoever operates his page--on Facebook. He's very much around and just did some shows in Hawaii. If you're interested, his Facebook page shares some videos of those concerts and others.

@dragon54u I am very aware of both of these.Speaking about Herb Alpert is he still around.
I did not know about the scholarship there.That is so wonderful.Thank you for sharing this.

Choices, choices! I think I'd like to have coffee with a comedian . . . maybe Jim Carrey, Jimmy Fallon, Jerry Seinfeld, Dave Chappelle, Adam Sandler, Conan O'Brien, Robin Williams (if he were alive), Ellen DeGeneres . . . or how about Kevin Spacey (I don't think he's a comedian, but he's funny).

@amadeo He sure is. When my husband and I started dating he told me, "listen to this song"...it was one by George Strait and it became our song. We even danced to it at our wedding!
