I would say that they are helpful in most situation and have a good manner as well. However, they are always some of the medical staffs may run out of patience and easy to be mean and rude once a while because of the pressure they have to deal with everyday, that's understandable. That's what I feel even I was late for my Physio appointment for half an hour today and not allowed to do my therapy today. I think sicne I wa slate for half an hour and I have nothing to say even my feeling was that good because it waste my time to go to the hospital. However, since I was late and theere were so many people in that place waiting to be served as well. I think I got another appointment for next week is already a grace even my feeling is not that good. But the therapist just did their job , so I can't blame them for anything. Well, what about your hospital ? Share with us

the medical staff at my local hospital have always been very kind and helpful. sometimes they are a bit...incompetent, and that can cause some minor problems, but i don't think i've ever met a rude staff member there.

Agree. Sometimes it is the patient's problems and sometimes it is the med staff problems. Well, since we are living in a fallen world which is not perfect and we need to learn how to live in harmony with other human beings whose quite different from us even sometimes we might face difficulties to deal with each other.

There's a common perception here in my country that public hospital staff are often rude, less friendly, etc. but I think that has gradually changed over the years. There are maybe a couple of isolated cases but I just don't think it's right to label all public hospital staff that way. Like you mentioned, there's a lot of pressure in the healthcare setting and I'm sure most of them are doing the best they can.
